The court may also require from 20-90 days community service, an Ignition Interlock device, and vehicle immobilization from 90-180 days.

Third and future offense is considered a felony and results in a driver’s license suspension for a minimum 1 year, fines from $200 to $1,000 plus a $1,000 driver responsibility fee, and a jail term from 1 to 5 years. 6 points will be added to your license, and the license plates will be confiscated. The court may also require from 60-180 days community service, an Ignition Interlock device, and vehicle immobilization from 90-180 days.

The zero tolerance BAC level in Michigan is .02%. Anyone under the age of 21 driving with a BAC of .02% or greater can be charged with DUI.
