A limited license is available after 90 days provided there was no child passenger or enhanced BAC penalty. License reinstatement fee is $250 plus a surcharge of $430. The court may order an Ignition Interlock device. There will also be an administrative license plate impoundment on all vehicles for 1 year as well as a specially coded plate identifying the car as a DUI vehicle to police.

Third offense is considered a gross misdemeanor and results in a driver’s license suspension for a period until a treatment and rehabilitation is completed as well as abstinence from alcohol for 1 year. Fines of $3,000, and a jail term of up to 1 year. The court may order an Ignition Interlock device. There will also be an administrative license plate impoundment on all vehicles for 1 year as well as a specially coded plate identifying the car as a DUI vehicle to police.
